Abstract

The main goal of this study was to characterize the barriers, facilitators and methodologies of inclusion in Portugal. A total of 124 Portuguese participants (94.35% females) were included in this study through their responses to a questionnaire (ASUMIE Survey Portugal) which focused on questions related to barriers, facilitators, and methodologies concerning individuals with Special Educational Needs and their inclusion. The perceptions and experiences of the participants regarding barriers, strengths, and strategies were characterized and discussed, providing valuable insights into enhancing inclusive educational practices. This Report was developed under the ERASMUS+ – KA2 (Project ASUMIE: 2020-1-BE02- KA201-074751)
