Implementação da consulta pré-natal especializada nos cuidados de saúde primários

Abstract

O período pré-natal, envolve adaptações físicas, psicológicas, familiares e sociais, sendo considerado um período chave para a intervenção em saúde, trazendo benefícios a curto e longo prazo. Novos desafios se impõem aos governos, para melhorar os resultados na saúde materno-infantil. Diferentes organizações internacionais remetem a mulher grávida/família para os cuidados Especializados do Enfermeiro Especialista em Saúde Materna e Obstétrica (EESMO), pela excelência dos cuidados em função da Maternidade segura. Tendo o EESMO as competências reconhecidas a nível internacional e comprovadas cientificamente e dado a elevada importância dos Cuidados de Saúde Primários, o presente trabalho trata da implementação da consulta pré-natal especializada, no Centro de Saúde de Albufeira, com o objetivo de melhorar os cuidados na gravidez, contribuindo para a melhoria da saúde materna-fetal; ABSTRACT:The prenatal period, involves physical, psychological, social and family adaptations and is considered a key period for health intervention, bringing benefits in the short and long term. New challenges are imposed on governments to improve outcomes in maternal and child health. Different international organizations refer the pregnant woman/family to the specialist care of Nurse Midwife (NM), for the excellence of care in terms of safe motherhood. Having the NM skills internationally recognized and scientifically proven and given the high importance of Primary Health Care, the present work deals with the implementation of prenatal consultation specializing at the Health Center of Albufeira with the aim of improving health care in pregnancy contributing to the improvement of maternal-fetal health.
