The CGE Broad Band Seismic Netwok

Abstract

This work tries to describe the effort done by the Geophysics Center of Évora (CGE) to collaborate in the development of a broad band seismic network Observation in the Iberian Peninsula. We rehearse rational planning ways that involve the collaboration with other institutions. Yet focus the characterization of procedures that presides the network implementation, starting by the choices of the sites and equipment type and finishing on the security, quality control and distribution of data practices.
