Tattoo Art: design de uma estação de trabalho transportável

Abstract

O presente projeto de investigação pretende realizar uma análise aos equipamentos utilizados no universo da Tattoo Art, mais especificamente as workstations (estações de trabalho), identificar os seus problemas e oportunidades relativamente às necessidades, requisitos e características da atividade de Tattoo Artist, de modo a melhorar a qualidade das suas condições de trabalho. A valorização da Tattoo Art passa pela sua desmistificação e o presente trabalho de investigação procurou conhecer e compreender este universo e imaginário. Procedeu-se à contextualização e definição desta temática, o seu enquandramento histórico, o estudo de estigmas e atitudes anti-estigma associados, a evolução da atividade até à atualidade e a sua relação com o universo artístico. Procedeu-se ainda à investigação dos processos criativo e técnico, de instrumentos e materiais, posturas e posições de trabalho e compilação e análise da oferta de mercado para melhor entender as necessidades associadas à atividade de um Tattoo Artist. O projeto consiste no Design de equipamento - uma workstation transportável e a identidade gráfica e comunicação; Tattoo Art: designing a transportable workstation ABSTRACT: This research project intends to perform an analysis of the equipment used in the universe of Tattoo Art, more specifically the workstations, identify the problems and opportunities relative to the needs, requirements and characteristics of the Tattoo Artist activity in order to improve the quality of their working conditions. The valorization of Tattoo Art goes through its demystification and the present research work sought to know and understand this universe and imaginary. We proceeded to the contextualization and definition of this theme, its historical framework, the study of stigmas and anti-stigma attitudes, the evolution of the activity to the present days and its relationship with the artistic universe. The creative and technical processes, instruments and materials, postures and work positions, compilation and analysis of the market offer were also investigated to better understand the needs associated with the activity of a Tattoo Artist. This project consists of an transportable workstation design proposal and his graphic identity and communication.
