Plano estratégico para as Piscinas Municipais de Évora

Abstract

Repensar e valorizar as Piscinas Municipais de Évora, é fundamental, para incitar uma maior dinâmica, desenvolvendo o turismo e o empreendedorismo. Para tal, é importante contextualizar o papel da gestão desportiva no desenvolvimento das respetivas instalações. Este trabalho centra-se no melhoramento das infraestruturas, divulgação do espaço e suas características, e dinamização de espaços subaproveitados. O estudo assentou num processo de recolha de dados, realizado através de entrevistas, obtidas junto de sete piscinas municipais do distrito de Évora, com o objetivo de se conhecer as suas caraterísticas e os desafios que enfrentam. Pretendeu-se, desta forma, adquirir massa crítica, essencial para a formulação dos objetivos estratégicos e sua operacionalização. A pouca diversidade observada ao nível dos serviços prestados pelos complexos da amostra, permitiu compreender que existe espaço para novos serviços e atividades, que melhorem a qualidade de vida da população e a visibilidade, tanto da infraestrutura, como da cidade; ### Abstract: Strategic Planning for Municipal Swimming Pools of Évora Rethink and enhance the municipal swimming pools of Évora, it is crucial to encourage greater dynamic, developing tourism and entrepreneurship. To this end, it is important to contextualize the role of sports management in the development of the respective facilities. This work focuses on the improvement of infrastructure, dissemination of space and its characteristics, and dynamization of underutilized spaces. The study was based on a data collection process, conducted through interviews, obtained from seven municipal swimming pools of the District of Évora, with the aim of knowing their characteristics and the challenges they face. It is intended, in this way, acquire critical mass, essential for formulating strategic objectives and their operationalization. The little diversity observed at the level of services provided by the swimming pools of the sample, allowed to understand that there is space for new services and activities, that can improve the quality of life of the population, and the visibility of the infrastructure and the city.
