Ivrea ville de Olivetti: de la reconnaissance UNESCO aux problématiques de la sauvegarde du patrimoine industriel

Abstract

En partant du dossier créé pour la candidature du site « Ivrea città industriale del XXesimo secolo», le travail s’intéresse au processus de patrimonialisation et aux critères de reconnaissance des biens culturels, au sein d’un site inséré dans la liste UNESCO ; ainsi qu’aux facteurs qui pourraient jouer un rôle dans les choix des sites dignes de recevoir le titre de patrimoine mondial. L'étude part du cas spécifique d'Olivetti et son patrimoine industriel pour initier une réflexion générale sur les démarches de la patrimonialisation et de classification des biens industriels, ainsi qu’aux limites des institutions culturelles dans la sauvegarde et la valorisation de ces derniers; - Ivrea city of Olivetti: from the UNESCO recognition to the problems of safeguarding the industrial heritage - Abstract: Starting from the file created for the candidacy of the site "Ivrea città industriale del XXesimo secolo", the work is interested in the process of patrimonialization and the criteria of recognition of cultural goods, within a site inserted in the UNESCO list; as well as in the factors that could play a role in the choice of the sites worthy of receiving the title of world heritage. The study starts from the specific case of Olivetti and its industrial heritage to initiate a general reflection on the processes of heritage and classification of industrial properties, as well as on the limits of cultural institutions in the safeguarding and valorisation of the latter.
