A autenticidade em tradução: produção versus reprodução

Abstract

The Authenticity in Translation – Production versus Reproduction The present study aims at presenting the resources at semantic, syntactic and lexical level of the target language that enable the production of a translation with authenticity. This dissertation is motivated by one research question: how can we reach an authentic translation? We start by presenting different studies on that matter that have helped us to identify our main hypothesis of study Next; we will present a discussion on the authenticity in translation, after which we will present our case study and its analysis, and finally, the conclusions. This empirical analysis will confirm the way to get to the authenticity of a translation; #### O presente estudo tem por objetivo apresentar os recursos a nível semântico, sintático e lexical da língua de chegada que possibilitem a produção de uma tradução com autenticidade. Esta dissertação é motivada por uma questão de estudo: como podemos chegar a uma tradução autêntica? Começamos por apresentar diferentes estudos sobre esse assunto e que nos ajudaram a identificar a nossa principal hipótese de estudo. Em seguida, apresentaremos uma discussão sobre a autenticidade em tradução, após o que apresentaremos o nosso estudo de caso e, por último, as conclusões sobre o mesmo. Esta análise empírica confirmará o caminho para chegar à autenticidade de uma tradução.
