Abstract

Abstract The problem of quality of teaching has many researchers and mobilizes resources in response to the need to assess the quality of education systems. This article is part of a research project, with the purpose of contributing to the identification and assessment of levels of quality in higher education provided by higher education institutions in Alentejo, taken from the indicator of school success. In this sense, we have constructed a survey questionnaire, which was administered to students who attend undergraduate programs with best and worst academic performance from the University of Évora, Polytechnic Institute of Beja and Polytechnic Institute of Portalegre. The data reflect an overall positive satisfaction of the respondents regarding their perceptions of the teaching they are given.
