A fenomenologia do tédio no livro do Desassossego: de Martin Heidegger a Fernando Pessoa

Abstract

O tema desta dissertação é o fenómeno do tédio e a perspetiva que adotamos é a fenomenologia existencial. Pretendemos investigar como é que a fenomenologia do tédio em Heidegger pode ajudar a compreender a fenomenologia do tédio em Fernando Pessoa e vice-versa. O ponto de partida é a problemática do tempo. O problema principal tratado neste trabalho diz respeito à finalidade existencial do tédio. Trata-se de discutir a possibilidade da temporalização específica do tédio poder ter um papel positivo na existência humana. Consideraremos especificamente a existência humana na modernidade, enquanto era da técnica. Iremos defender que o tédio tem a virtude de nos alertar para a falta de autenticidade no modo como projetamos a nossa existência no mundo. Os nossos argumentos serão procurados em Ser e Tempo, n’Os Conceitos Fundamentais de Metafísica, no Livro do Desassossego, nos poemas de Álvaro de Campos, e ainda na análise da experiência humana moderna; ABSTRACT: The Phenomenology of Boredom in the Book of Disquiet: from Martin Heidegger to Fernando Pessoa The subject of this research is the phenomenon of boredom, and the perspective that we adopt is the existential phenomenology. We will investigate how Heidegger’s phenomenology of boredom can help us understand the phenomenology of boredom of Fernando Pessoa and vice versa. Our starting point is the question of time. This study primarily addresses the existential purpose of boredom, discussing whether the specific temporalization of boredom might have a positive role in human existence. We specifically consider human existence in modernity as a time of technique. We will argue that boredom has the virtue of alerting us to the lack of authenticity in the way we project our existence in the world. We will look for our arguments in Being and Time, in Fundamental Concepts of Metaphysics, in the Book of Disquiet, in the poetry of Álvaro de Campos, and in the analysis of modern human experience.
