As tecnologias na educação matemática: a investigação realizada em Portugal entre 1988-2012

Abstract

Com este estudo pretendemos perceber as tendências seguidas nas investigações realizadas no âmbito das tecnologias na educação matemática, procurando melhor compreender de que forma essa integração foi sendo concretizada. O estudo seguiu um desenho de investigação de natureza qualitativa com recurso à análise de conteúdo. Foram analisados 108 trabalhos de investigação, entre dissertações de mestrado e teses de doutoramento realizadas em Portugal entre 1988 e 2012. Os resultados deste estudo permitem-nos perceber que os alunos e as suas aprendizagens são elementos centrais nas investigações analisadas, o computador é a tecnologia sempre presente ao longo do tempo e a geometria o tema matemático predominante. No final do estudo será apresentada a nossa perspectiva do que serão as tendências nos próximos anos no que respeita à utilização de tecnologias na educação, e em particular na Matemática; The technologies in Mathematics Education: the research carried out in Portugal between 1988-2012 Abstract: With this study we intend to perceive the trends followed in research studies in the area of technology in mathematics education, seeking to better understand how this integration was being realized. The study followed a qualitative research design with recourse to content analysis. We analysed 108 research papers, among dissertations and doctoral theses, carried out in Portugal between 1988 and 2012. The results of this study allow us to realize that students and their learning are central in the analysed investigations, the computer technology is always present over time and geometry was the predominant mathematical theme. At the end of the study will be presented our point of view of what will be the trends in the coming years in relation of the use of technology in education, and particularly in mathematics.
