Institucionalização na óptica das redes sociais - Uma abordagem sociológica da Fundação Manuel Gerardo de Sousa e Castro

Abstract

A evolução das comunicações entre os indivíduos e o acesso à informação é um elemento-chave para o desenvolvimento dos indivíduos e dos grupos sociais. A capacidade de obter informações é a parte relacional entre os indivíduos e grupos, onde a utilização da análise de redes sociais tem sido propagada velozmente, nos últimos anos. As dinâmicas de um grupo de jovens institucionalizados são um exemplo de estudo de análise de redes sociais. Através da delineação da rede social destes jovens, é possível entender como estão condicionadas as relações com o grupo de pares e, identificar quais os atores que interferem nessas relações; ABSTRACT: The evolution of communications among subjects and access to information is a key factor for the development of individuals and social groups. The ability to share information is the important part between individuals and groups, where the use of social network analysis has been propagated quickly in the last years. The dynamics of an institutionalized group of young people are an example study of social network analysis. Through the delineating of their social network, it’s possible to understand how the relationships are conditioned with the peer group and identify the actors that interfere with these relationships.
