Coaching: estudo sobre a prática dos coachs em Portugal

Abstract

O principal objetivo desta investigação é a caracterização da prática do Coaching em Portugal. Inicia-se com u1n estudo teórico sobre a temática, estudo esse que serviu de suporte para elaboração de um instrumento, através do qual se recolheu dados para um estudo empírico. Este instrumento tem a forma de um questionário enviado por email aos profissionais que em Portugal oferecem. Serviço de Coaching, e que se disponibilizaram, reenviando esse mesmo questionário preenchido. O tratamento desses dados foi efetuado com recurso ao programa SPSS, no caso de dados quantitativos, e à categorização do conteúdo, para trabalhar os dados qualitativos. A investigação é concluída com uma caracterização do Coaching baseada nas características do Coach em exercício em Portugal e da sua atividade, com as características do desenvolvimento do processo de Coaching e do cliente de Coaching em Portugal, focando a necessidade de dar credibilidade à prática, nomeadamente, através da constituição de referenciais e certificação adaptados ao contexto português. /ABSTRACT - The main purpose of this research is to characterize the Coaching practice in Portugal. It begins with a theoretical study on the theme, intended to support the elaboration of the instrument, through whiich the data for the empirical study was collected. This instrument has the form of a questionnaire, Which Was sent by email to professionals who offer Coaching service in Portugal, and were available to answer, then resending the filled questionnaire. The data were analyzed with SPSS program, in the case of quantitative data, and content categorization, to Work the qualitative data. The research concludes With a characterization of the Coaches presently working in Portugal, their activity, the development of the Coaching process and of the Coaching clients in Portugal, focusing on the necessity of conquering credibility for the practice, particularly through the construction of referencials and the achievement of certification, both adapted to the Portuguese context.
