Genocide: the transformation of a beast

Abstract

Genocidal violence in our times is expected to take new forms, given the actual problems of our societies: overpopulation, climate change, and economic shocks. The article argues that institutional changes cannot be and will not be enough to end genocide. Above all, political will must be built.
