/// The examples we have brought together in this publication present different approaches and express the most varied interests yet, gathered together, are not simply a compilation. In fact, these houses cannot be explained only on the basis of what is built; and the site, at the same time, must be understood on the basis of a geographical interpretation of the territory which surrounds it. In fact, the intense relationship with the land is a common base which makes them solidary. Once this has been understood, the relationship between the homes and the geography is presented on two levels. On the one hand, through the formal dialogue they establish with the topography, the line of the water, the line of the summit, the vegetation, and the paths –which is reflected right from the first architectural gesture, the setting of the building on the site–. On the other hand, by the manner in which the views are directed and the relationship which the spaces establish with the land, now transformed into landscape.por
