O projecto educativo : plano de desenvolvimento da escola

Abstract

O presente estudo tem por objectivo conhecer o Projecto Educativo de Escola, através da análise longitudinal dos discursos e das práticas dos actores, no sentido da sua apropriação enquanto plano estratégico do desenvolvimento da escola como organização. A metodologia assenta na vertente qualitativa, conjugada com uma abordagem quantitativa. O estudo de caso foi a estratégia de pesquisa utilizada e os instrumentos de recolha de dados recaíram na análise documental, nomeadamente: actas; inquérito por questionário e entrevistas a docentes com responsabilidades institucionais. Os resultados demonstram que os actores, apesar de uma certa incoerência entre os discursos e os registos da vida organizacional e pedagógica da escola, consideram o Projecto Educativo da Escola como documento nuclear e instrumento estratégico do desenvolvimento da organização escola. Esta aparente dualidade, sendo reveladora de uma certa tensão entre discursos e registos das acções, não retira ao Projecto Educativo de Escola a sua força como um elemento configurador da dinâmica organizacional e pedagógica da escola. – ABSTRACT: The Educational Project: A Plan for the School's Development This project has as its main goal the study of the School's Educational Project, through the longitudinal analysis of the discourses and the practices of the involved actors, in the sense of its ownership while strategic plan of the school's development as an organization. The used methodology is based on the qualitative aspect, combined with a quantitative approach. The case study was the chosen research strategy and the instruments used to collect data had as a basis the document analysis, namely: minutes, question-based surveys and interviews to teachers with institutional responsibilities. Even though there is a certain inconsistency between the speeches and the records of the school's organizational and pedagogical life, the results show the actors agree that the School's Educational Project is a vital document and a strategic instrument of the development of the school's organization. This apparent duality does not withdraw the power of the School's Educational Project as one of the configurative elements of the school's organizational and pedagogical dynamics, even though it reveals a certain tension between speeches and records of the actions.
