Adsorption of bisphenol A by granular activated carbon prepared with different silicates as binders

Abstract

In this work, we explore one of the most efficient approaches, according to the literature, in these remediation processes, which is the adsorption, particularly when it is possible to use adsorbents from precursors of renewable origin and low commercial value, mainly by-products of biomass origin.
