dc.description.abstractDogs are a unique domestic species regarding their reproductive function. In particular, the large variability in main events related to the canine estrous cycle raises a challenge when managing the reproductive function, especially in females. In this presentation we will revise the physiologic basis of the canine reproduction and will discuss some key-points to guarantee the reproductive success in female dogs.por
