A família, a escola e o trabalho infantil: o caso dos menores integrados no PIEF

Abstract

Num tempo marcado pelo efémero, pelo transitório e pelo confronto muitas vezes desigual, entre valores e interesses, numa Sociedade em permanente e acelerada mutação, assiste-se ao surgimento de situações complexas e difíceis de serem ultrapassadas, provocando fossos entre gerações, categorias profissionais e Sociedade em geral. Sobrevivendo às intempéries políticas, económicas e sociais, a família e a escola têm encontrado alguns processos difíceis. Aqui cruzam-se inexoravelmente situações de trabalho infantil, de analfabetismo e de miséria. O trabalho insere-se na condição da infância, na contemporaneidade. Mas, não da mesma forma para todos os menores. A iniciação de atividades produtivas por menores, torna-os mais vulneráveis a situações de exploração, aproximando-os mais precocemente dos adultos em detrimento da sua formação pessoal e académica. Com o empenhamento de todos é possível postular um caminho promissor, que pugne pela democratização da educação, para que ninguém seja excluído. Só pela valorização dos recursos humanos e pela qualificação avançada dos trabalhadores é possível fazer face a um mundo concorrencial que se pretende mais justo e humanizado. Este estudo tem como objetivo geral caracterizar a vida familiar, a escola e o trabalho infantil dos menores integrados em PIEF, no âmbito do projeto PETI. ***Abstract - In a time characterized by the ephemeral, the transitory and the confrontation, so many times unequal, between values and interests, in a society in permanent and accelerated mutation, we witness to the rise of complex and difficult situations to be overtaken, creating ditches between generations, professional categories and society in general. Surviving to the political, economic and social inclemency, the family and school have found some difficult processes. Here meet inexorably situations of childish work, illiteracy and misery. This work sets itself in the childish condition, nowadays. But not in the same way for all minors. The rising of productive activity of minors, makes them more vulnerable to situations of exploitation, approaching them even more prematurely to adults instead of their academic and personal formation. With total engagement it is possible to demand a promising way that struggles for the democratization of education, so that no one is excluded. By valuing the human resources and the advanced qualification of workers it is possible to face a competitive world that we want fairer and more human. The main goal of this work is to characterize the familiar life, school and the childish work of minor that belong to PIEF, in the PETI project.
