Novas medidas para um território: projeto piloto de arquitectura para a implementação de sistemas aquícolas no Alqueva

Abstract

A presente dissertação foi desenvolvida com base no programa académico do ano de 2013 da disciplina de Projecto Avançado IV da Universidade de Évora e procura estabelecer relações entre propriedades físicas e metafísicas universais com a Arquitectura através de um processo experimental de conhecimento práctico e investigação dos territórios como forma de adequar e integrar os objectos propostos preservando a indentidade desses territórios. A materialização destas relações é feita através de uma proposta de projecto de Arquitectura que aborde de uma forma holística como se desenvolvem as comunidades e territórios que compõem o lago do Alqueva. O trabalho desenvolve-se em duas fases de investigação iniciais: a procura da compreensão da natureza estética e funcional dos objectos e o conhecimento natural e cultural do território. Da investigação inicial resulta uma função específica a que acresce outra investigação mais directa sobre o tema e as tipologias associadas que, por fim, são materializadas sob a forma de um projecto de arquitectura, integrando os resultados das investigações realizadas e definir e reforçar a identidade cultural e a presença da nova realidade que o lago do Alqueva gerou nesta região. Esta dissertação surge assim como uma hipótese projectual e como forma de reflexão, uma hipótese que ensaia e materializa os conteúdos previamente abordados através da projecção e concepção de um programa de carácter funcional, uma exploração aquícola no lago do Alqueva; ABSTRACT: This research was developed based on the academic program of the year 2013 of the unit Advanced Project IV of University of Évora on the year 2013 and searches to establish relations between Architecture and universal physical and metaphysical properties through an experimental process of practical knowledge and territorial research as a way to adequate and integrate the proposed objects while preservind the identity of of those territories. These relations are materialized in a proposed Architecture project that has an holistic approach on how to develop the comunities and territories that make up the Alqueva lake. The paper has two initial research staages: the search for the comprehension of the specific aestethic and functional nature of objects and the natural and cultural knowledge of the territory. Of this initial research results a specific function to which is added another, more direct research on the topic and the associated typologies that, at last, are materialized as an Architecture project that integrates the results of the researches and defines and reinforces the cultural identiry and the presence of the new reality that the Alqueva lake generated on this region. Therefore this paper comes as a project orientated event and as a means of reflection, a possibility to rehearse and materialize the previously discussed contents through the design and conception of a functional program, an aquaculture farm in the Alqueva lake.
