Promoção da segurança infantil: prevenção de acidentes e de lazer em crianças dos 0 aos 4 anos de idade

Abstract

O presente relatório desenvolvido no âmbito de Curso de Mestrado e Especialização em Enfermagem de Saúde da Criança e do Jovem tem como principal objetivo descrever e refletir acerca do percurso formativo realizado nos contextos de estágio e que nos permitiu a implementação de um projeto de intervenção, que tem como tema central a promoção de saúde da criança/jovem e família, nomeadamente a promoção da segurança infantil: prevenção de acidentes domésticos e de lazer nas crianças dos 0 aos 4 anos de idade. Os estágios decorreram em diferentes locais de assistência à criança/família, sendo o projeto desenvolvido com recurso à metodologia de trabalho de projeto, onde foram desenvolvidas diversas atividades para responder a objetivos previamente estabelecidos, sendo possível desenvolver competências de Mestre, competências comuns do Enfermeiro Especialista e competências específicas do Enfermeiro Especialista em Enfermagem de Saúde da Criança e do Jovem. Consideramos através das atividades desenvolvidas durante todo o percurso formativo termos atingido os objetivos a que nos propusemos, com vista à maximização da saúde da criança/jovem e família; ABSTRACT: The Promotion of Child Safety: Prevention of Domestic and Leisure Accidents in Children between the ages of 0 and 4 The following report, developed in the context of the Master’s Degree on Child and Youth’s care in Nursing, has the main goal of describing and reflecting the formative path made in the Internships settings and it has allowed us the implementation of an intervention project, which has as the main topic the promotion of Child/Youth and Family Healthcare, namely the promotion of Child Safety: Prevention of Domestic and Leisure Accidents in Chil-dren between the ages of 0 and 4. The Internships had taken place in different assistance of child/family locales, being the project developed with the use of the project’s work methodology, where various activities were undertaken to respond the previously established goals, being possible the development of Master’s skills, ordinary skills of the Specialist Nurse and the specific skills of the Child and Youth Healthcare Nurse Specialist. We consider through the activities undertaken throughout all the formative process, we were able to reach the goal that we proposed to ourselves, in order to maximize the child’s/youth’s and family health.
