Estabelecimento do aleitamento materno: auto-eficácia e motivação da mulher

Abstract

Introdução: O estágio de natureza profissional integrado no mestrado em saúde materna e obstétrica, possibilita a aptidão de competências. A temática é de interesse mundial, pois o aleitamento materno é considerado um dos pilares da saúde e o melhor alimento. Objetivos: Analisar crítica e reflexivamente as atividades desenvolvidas na aquisição de competências. Descrever a informação pertinente sobre a autoeficácia e motivação materna relativamente ao aleitamento materno. Metodologia: Estágio realizado sob metodologia de supervisão clínica. Análise das experiências clínicas. Estudo tipo correlacional, abordagem quantitativa. População foram as puérperas praticantes de aleitamento materno. Recolha de dados através de questionário, tratamento com Software IBM® SPSS® Statistic, versão 24. Resultados: Cumpridas as experiências clínicas. O estudo revelou altos níveis de motivação e autoeficácia. Conclusões: Objetivos atingidos. Competências adquiridas, com resultados positivos. O tema explorado demonstrou uma correlação positiva entre o aleitamento materno, motivação e autoeficácia materna; Breastfeeding Establishment: self-efficacy and motivation of women Abstrac: Introduction: The professional internship integrated in the master’s degree in the maternal and obstetric health allows the aptitude of competences. This theme is of global interest once breastfeeding is considered the best food and one of the pillars of health. Objectives: To critically and reflexively analyze the activities developed in the acquisitions of competences. To describe relevant information about maternal selfefficacy and motivation regarding breastfeeding. Methodology: Internship made under clinical supervision methodology. Analysis of clinical experiences. Correlational study, with a quantitative approach. The population were the mothers who breastfed. The data was collected through a questionnaire, treated with IBM® SPSS® Statistic, 24th version. Results: Clinical experiences fulfilled. The study shown high levels of motivation and self-efficacy. Conclusions: Objectives accomplished. Skills acquired, with positive results. The explored theme shown a positive correlation between breastfeeding, motivation and maternal self-efficacy.
