Pretendeu-se estudar sobre os requisitos de um sistema de informação que concentre num só ponto as várias ofertas de Surfcamps de um país bem como a criação de um sistema de reservas e, com base nesse estudo, contribuir para propor e avaliar uma solução para este problema. Foi realizada uma pesquisa intensiva sobre a área em questão bem como das tecnologias que lhe podem dar suporte. Este trabalho permitiu construir um sistema que servirá como intermediário entre quem oferece um serviço de Surfcamp e os clientes que procuram um Surfcamp, constituído por uma interface web, onde foi possível criar e testar as várias funcionalidades. Os resultados obtidos mereceram depois uma reflexão que poderá contribuir para o aumento do conhecimento sobre este tipo de sistemas; Abstract: Surfcamps Booking System The goal of this project was to build a functional prototype which would improve the demand for and functionalities related to the business of surf in Portugal. One of the project’s objectives was to conduct a study on the requisites of an information system which would coalesce on a single point the various Surfcamp on offer in a national territory, as well as the creation of a booking system. Based on this study, the project’s objective was to make a meaningful contribution by proposing and assessing a solution that would cater for this need. In this context, an intensive research was carried out on the topic, and namely on the technologies which might underpin the construction of the said prototype. The project carried out allowed the construction of a system which will serve as the channel of communication between the providers of a Surfcamp service and the clients who seek such service. This is made up of a web interface, where it was possible to design and test the functionalities. The results obtained were object of further thought and analysis which may also contribute to improving and deepening knowledge on this type of systems.
