Architectura and Computation. A Historical Reading

Abstract

This article ranges from research investigating the foundation, growth and advances of computing technology applied to architecture. It provides a new historical framework that culturally contextualizes the birth of architecture computing within the interweave path of social connections that occurred in the UK between the British Avant-garde and the British scientific milieu at the dawn of WWII.
