Política e fragmentação da sociedade moderna: a propósito do pensamento de Ulrich Beck

Abstract

A discussão em torno da fragmentação da sociedade moderna nas perspetivas sociopolítica, cultural e da cidadania numa era global, está vinculada à destradicionalização, à globalização e à reflexividade iminente à crise global numa sociedade cada vez mais incerta. No entanto, esses elementos contribuíram para uma arquitetura político-social que se criou e vincou na era moderna, começando pelo ocidente europeu e depois nos demais continentes, mas que agora se encontra em declínio. Hoje, vivemos num mundo cada vez mais complexo, desordenado, complexificado nas Instituições, nas teorias, nos ordenamentos e normas, cada vez mais inseguro, incerto, pelo contrário, mais desculturado, embora muito mais complexo e diante de problemas característicos de um modelo político e social pós-industrial. Tendo inicialmente como alicerce a teoria política e social de Ulrich Beck, a presente investigação analisa e explica os fundamentos que fortalecem as múltiplas conceções de modernidade, identifica os elementos que produzem a descontinuidade da sociedade moderna, examina a falência das Instituições e contribui para o conhecimento mais profundo a respeito da decadência das Instituições da sociedade moderna; Politics and fragmentation of modern society: The Purpose of the thought of Ulrich Beck ABSTRACT: The discussion around the fragmentation of modern society in the sociopolitical, cultural perspectives and citizenship in a global era, are linked to destradicionalization, globalisation and the imminent global crisis reflexivity in a society increasingly uncertain. However, those elements have contributed to a political-social architecture that has been created and stressed in the modern era, beginning with the European West and later in other continents, but that is now in decline. Nowadays, we live in a world that is increasingly complex, cluttered, complex in the Institutions, in the theories, frameworks and standards in increasingly insecure, uncertain, on the contrary, more without culture, although much more complex and facing problems characteristic of a post-industrial political and social model. Having initially as political theory and social foundation of Ulrich Beck, this research analyzes and explains the fundamentals that strengthen the multiple concessions to modernity, identifies the elements that produce the discontinuity of modern society, examines the failure of Institutions and contributes to deeper knowledge about the decay of modern society”s Institutions.
