Medicina e cirurgia de animais de companhia

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio expõe as atividades desenvolvidas durante seis meses no Hospital Veterinário do Atlântico na área de clínica e cirurgia de pequenos animais. O trabalho está dividido em duas componentes. A primeira consiste na análise da casuística acompanhada durante o estágio, apresentando-se gráficos e tabelas como recurso interpretativo. A segunda componente constitui uma monografia subordinada ao tema “Massas Mediastínicas”, incluindo a apresentação de alguns casos acompanhados durante o estágio, revendo qual a melhor abordagem imagiológica para chegar ao diagnóstico, qual o tratamento e, por fim, prognóstico; ABSTRACT: Small Animal Medicine and Surgery The present report exposes the activities developed during the six months’ internship at the Veterinary Hospital Atlântico, in small animal practice. The work is divided into two components. The first component analyzes the activities carried out during the internship, using visual representations. The second component of this work aims to a literature review of Mediastinal Masses, including the presentation of several clinical cases followed during the internship, a revision of the current approaches to diagnosing and treatment and finally, the prognosis.
