Envolvimento da Figura Paterna no Acompanhamento da Companheira no Trabalho do Parto

Abstract

No âmbito do Curso Mestrado em Enfermagem de Saúde Materna e Obstétrica prevê-se a aquisição de competências, instrumentais, relacionais e de investigação, concordantes com Ordem dos Enfermeiros. O Curso tem um caráter prático e reflexivo, em que o foco está centrado no desenvolvimento de competências clínicas especializadas. Objetivos: descrever as experiências desenvolvidas no estágio; conhecer o envolvimento do pai durante o trabalho de parto da companheira. Metodologia: As experiências durante o estágio foram descritas e analisadas, centrando-se no envolvimento do pai, no acompanhamento da companheira no trabalho de parto. Foi realizada a pesquisa bibliográfica de forma a aprofundar os conhecimentos na temática. Resultados: atingiram-se os objetivos curriculares e temáticos previstos. Conclusão: Chegou-se à conclusão de que o envolvimento paterno no contexto de sala de parto é benéfico para todos intervenientes do processo. O enfermeiro tem competências para cuidar a família, dando apoio à figura paterna. - Involvement of the Father Figure in the Follow-up of the Companion in Labor; ABSTRACT: Within the scope of the master’s degree in Maternal and Obstetric Health Nursing, the acquisition of instrumental, relational and research competencies is foreseen, in accordance with the Order of Nurses. The course has a practical and reflective nature focused on the development of specialized clinical skills. Objectives: to describe the experiences developed in the internship; to know the father's involvement during the partner's labor and to identify the feelings perceived during the partner's labor. By, Methodology: The experiences during the internship were described and analyzed, focusing on the involvement of the father figure in the follow-up of the partner in labor. Bibliographic research was carried out in order to deepen the knowledge on the subject. Results: the curricular and thematic objectives were achieved. Conclusion: It is concluded that paternal involvement in the context of the delivery room is beneficial for all actors in the process. The nurse has the skills to take care of the family, giving support to the father figure.
