Abstract
This Toolkit is a practical outcome of the PLAY/ACT project, aimed at citizens and organizations interested in placemaking and co-design in urban contexts. It presents a selection of tools developed and used by students during the project, detailing their objectives, application phases (such as Engagement, Research, Ideation, etc.), target audiences, required materials, and implementation procedures, along with a critical reflection on each tool’s results. Complementing the PLAY/ACT Placemaking Handbook, which offers a broader analysis of the project's journey and outcomes across Évora, Mérida, Matera, and Budapest, the Toolkit serves as a replicable resource for similar initiatives.
