La théorie et la pratique dans la musique instrumentale de Xenakis

Abstract

This article is about the relation between theory and practice in the music of Iannis Xenakis. It argues that theory, in Xenakis, is less concerned by the structuration of the work than by the production of certain types of sonority, object or texture.
