dc.description.abstractRésumé Cet article porte sur les valeurs attachées aux bouchons de champagne. Il traite des stratégies narratives adoptées par plusieurs entreprises de liège pour créer des marques mondiales. L’exemple de ces entreprises montre que le patrimoine est une construction sociale s’appuyant sur des récits à caractère historiques. Le storytelling est un outil puissant couramment utilisé dans les marques de luxe liées au commerce du vin. L’authenticité apparaît comme une valeur essentielle au maintien du caractère distinctif des bouchons de champagne. Dans un contexte de concurrence mondiale accrue, cette valeur sert à gagner la confiance et la crédibilité des clients et du public. Cet article soutient que, bien que l’utilisation du patrimoine à travers la narration soit un outil utile à la gestion des marques, il convient de distinguer le patrimoine de marque du concept d’authenticité. Il ouvre la voie à de futures recherches sur la gestion des marques et le rôle des consommateurs dans la création de valeur. This article is about the values attached to champagne corks. It discusses the storytelling strategies adopted by several cork companies to build global brands. Using these corkbusiness examples, it is demonstrated that heritage is a social construction based on strong narratives. Storytelling is a powerful instrument used in the context of creating luxury brands closely related to the wine business. Authenticity appears to be an essential value in maintaining the distinctive character of champagne corks. In a context of increased global competition, is used to gain trust and credibility in brand management. This article argues that, although the use of heritage through storytelling is a useful tool for the practice of brand management, brand heritage and the concept of authenticity should be distinguised. This article opens to further research on brand management and the role of consumers in creating value.por
