Abordagem cirúrgica à rotura do ligamento cruzado cranial no cão através da técnica de osteotomia de nivelamento da meseta tibial

Abstract

O presente relatório diz respeito ao estágio curricular do Mestrado Integrado em Medicina Veterinária realizado no Hospital Veterinário Mais Animais (HV +Ani+), durante o período de 4 de outubro de 2021 e 31 de março de 2022. Primeiramente é apresentado um resumo da casuística observada ao longo dos seis meses de estágio, incluindo os casos que a estagiária considerou terem sido devidamente acompanhados. Na segunda parte, é realizada uma revisão bibliográfica sobre o tema “Abordagem Cirúrgica à Rotura do Ligamento Cruzado Cranial no Cão através da técnica de Osteotomia de Nivelamento da Meseta Tibial” com descrição de um caso clínico acompanhado durante o estágio, relacionado com a afeção. A rotura do ligamento cruzado cranial (RLCCr) é conhecida como sendo a causa mais comum de claudicação do membro pélvico (MP) em cães. A técnica cirúrgica de osteotomia de nivelamento da meseta tibial (TPLO) é atualmente umas das técnicas mais popularmente utilizadas; - Surgical Approach to Dog’s Cranial Cruciate Ligament Rupture by Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy Technique (TPLO) Abstract: This report concerns the curricular internship of the Integrated Masters Degree in Veterinary Medicine held at the Mais Animais Veterinary Hospital, during the period of October 4th of 2021 and March 31th of 2022. First, a summary of the cases observed during the six months of internship is presented, including the cases that the intern considered to have been properly monitored. In the second part, a bibliographic review is carried out on the topic "Surgical Approach to the Rupture of the Cranial Cruciate Ligament in the Dog through the Tibial Plateau Levelling Osteotomy technique (TPLO)" with a description of a clinical case followed during the internship, related to the condition.
