Vítimas da guerra - o caso de Angola: a intervenção da Christian Children Fund

Abstract

Durante anos a guerra em Angola foi uma realidade diária para a sua população. Décadas de um conflito violento deixaram grandes cicatrizes à população angolana e especialmente às mulheres e crianças. O objectivo do presente estudo é procurar, ouvir e documentar com rigor as vozes das meninas que presenciaram uma guerra. O grande desafio, para as ONGs, nomeadamente para a Christian Children Fund, é protegê-las da destruição completa no conflito, ajudando-as a superar/minimizar o impacto emocional e social da experiência prolongada da guerra em Angola permitindo a sua reintegração na sociedade actual. ABSTRACT: War Victims - The Case of Angola The intervention of the Christian Children Fund For a long period of time the war in Angola was a daily reality for its population. This was a violent conflict which has marked a lot of people, namely women and children. The main objective of this research is to document in a scientific way the voice of the girls involved in the war, in order to have a deep understanding of the effects of the conflict on women and/or girls. The role of the Non Governamental Organizations as the Christian Children Fund is crucial for the help and protection of such orphans of war, who were subject to violence in a long war, and for the promotion of their integration Within the Angola society.
