A linguagem do organismo nos contos de Quim Monzó e na tetralogia o reino de Gonçalo M. Tavares: a face abjecta do corpo

Abstract

Esta dissertação consiste na análise do modo como dois autores ibéricos contemporâneos, Quim Monzó (1952) e Gonçalo M. Tavares (1970), valorizam nas suas obras a linguagem do orgânico, aquela que se enuncia através do corpo humano em pleno exercício das suas funções excretórias e secretoras. No rasto dessa matéria, recuperada do âmbito do prosaico ou do clínico, e convocada pelos escritores ao patamar do literário, num género de operação higiénica que torna o repugnante artístico, procuraremos encontrar toda uma alquimia ou semiótica do humano, entrando em diálogo com os grandes temas da literatura universal. Em simultâneo, e sempre com o auxílio desse corpóreo por vezes grotesco, delinearemos os cotejos possíveis entre as obras dos dois autores, sem a pretensão de se levar a cabo um estudo exaustivo; ABSTRACT:This dissertation consists on the analysis of how two contemporary iberic writers, Quim Monzó (1952) and Gonçalo M. Tavares (1970), value in their works, the language of the organic, the one that states itself through the human body in its secretory and excretory functions. Following this subject, saved by the prosaic and clinic extent and called by the writers in a literary world, in a kind of hygienic operation that transforms the disgusting into artistic, we will find a whole alchemic or human semiotics, getting into a dialogue with the famous themes of the universal literature. Simultaneously, and always with the help of this body, sometimes grotesque, we will delineate the possible similarities between the works of both writers, without the ambition to carry out an exhaustive study.
