Faces do Silêncio. Um contributo para a interpretação da poesia de Daniel Faria

Abstract

A obra de Daniel Faria configura-se, ainda, como um território potencialmente profícuo no âmbito da sua interpretação. Apesar de pairar sobre a sua obra poética uma espécie de aura que se reflete no facto de grande parte da sua interpretação efetivar-se no campo da teologia, trata-se aqui de ampliar o campo de interpretação a outras dimensões. Deste modo, a presente dissertação emerge como um possível contributo para um conhecimento mais profundo e abrangente de um autor que merece um olhar atento e sensível. A questão do silêncio é um dos elementos mais gritantes desta poesia e, como tal, adquire um espaço particularmente significativo pelo potencial interpretativo e suas derivações. Trata-se aqui, de um exercício cujos parâmetros serão equacionados no contexto da sua obra, mas, não deixando de parte o discurso consubstanciado no diálogo com outros autores. Destarte, a análise do silêncio na poesia de Daniel Faria seguirá a abordagem espelhada em quatro linhas de força: 1) O silêncio introspetivo: 2) O silêncio contemplativo; 3) O silêncio do indizível 4) O silêncio da pedra e da luz; - Faces of Silence. A contribute to the interpretation of Daniel Faria's poetry Abstract: Daniel Faria's work is also a potentially fruitful area for interpretation. Although his poetic work has a kind of aura about it, which is reflected in the fact that much of its interpretation takes place in the field of theology, the aim here is to broaden the field of interpretation to other dimensions. In this way, this dissertation emerges as a possible contribution to a deeper and more comprehensive understanding of an author who deserves an attentive and sensitive look. The question of silence is one of the most striking elements of this poetry and, as such, acquires a particularly significant place due to its interpretative potential and derivations. This is an exercise whose parameters will be equated in the context of his work, but without leaving aside the discourse embodied in the dialogue with other authors. Thus, the analysis of silence in Daniel Faria's poetry will follow the approach mirrored in four lines of force: 1) Introspective silence; 2) Contemplative silence; 3) The silence of the unspeakable; 4) The silence of stone and light.
