Configurações estruturais da escola: Conselhos de turma: um desafio à inovação

Abstract

O presente estudo tem como objetivo geral aprofundar o estudo da escola no âmbito dos conselhos de turma enquanto estruturas de gestão intermédia. Enquadrando-se no âmbito das metodologias de investigação qualitativa define-se como um estudo de caso organizacional, centrado num segmento de análise: os conselhos de turma do 3° ciclo do Ensino Básico. Foram escolhidas duas unidades orgânicas, uma Básica e outra Secundária procurando-se através da triangulação de vários elementos, análise documental e entrevistas, percecionar significados e sensibilidades. Como conclusão considera-se que os conselhos de turma contribuirão para a inovação curricular se forem gestores do currículo, se o diretor de turma privilegiar a prática da liderança e se a autonomia se efetivar para que deem lugar a equipas pedagógicas estruturando-se em constelações de trabalho. /ABSTRACT - The general aim of this study is to investigate the school learning within the range of class councils as structures of intermediate management. In the sphere of action of the qualitative investigation methodology this study can be defined as an organizational case, focused on an analysis segment: the class councils of the 3rd cycle of Elementary grade. Two organic unities were chosen, one in Elementary grade, and the other in Secondary grade, with the purpose of through triangulation of several elements, documental analysis and interviews, to achieve the perception of meanings and sensibilities. What can be concluded from these observations is that the class councils can contribute to the curricular innovation if they were managers of curriculum, if the class director manager would favor the practice of leadership and if the autonomy would be carried out in such a Way they give place to pedagogical teams, structured in work constellations.
