Atitudes dos enfermeiros face à colheita de órgãos e ao transplante

Abstract

O interesse social e os princípios para doação de órgãos e transplantação estão a aumentar, estando os profissionais de saúde desde logo inevitavelmente envolvidos em todo o processo. O papel do enfermeiro em todo este processo, revela-se de uma extrema importância, e as suas atitudes face a esta problemática poderão estar relacionados com a satisfação profissional e com o nível de conhecimentos. Neste contexto, surge este estudo, não experimental, transversal e correlacional de tipo quantitativo, para o qual foram definidos como objetivos fundamentais: caracterizar o perfil sócio-profissional dos enfermeiros; avaliar o grau de satisfação profissional; identificar o nível de conhecimento, avaliar as atitudes dos enfermeiros face à colheita de órgãos e transplante e determinar alguns fatores preditivos dessas atitudes. Os dados foram obtidos, através da aplicação de um questionário a enfermeiros de quatro hospitais da área de Lisboa, concluindo-se que as suas atitudes são moderadamente assertivas e revelam conhecimento suficiente mas não em relação à legislação vigente. Além disso, os enfermeiros apresentam-se medianamente satisfeitos. A equipa de pertença, a satisfação profissional e nível de conhecimentos dos enfermeiros sobre esta temática são fatores preditivos das atitudes dos enfermeiros face à colheita de órgãos e ao transplante profissionalmente. /ABSTRACT - The social interest and the tenet for organ donation and transplantation are increasing, being the professionals of health since soon inevitably involved in all the process. The nurse's role in all this process shows of an extreme importance, and its attitudes face to this problematic could be related with the professional satisfaction and the level of knowledge. In this context, this study it’s a not experimental, transversal, correlated and quantitative type, for which it was defined as fundamenta1°s goals: to characterize the profile social and professional of the nurses; to evaluate the degree of professional satisfaction; to identify the knowledge level; to evaluate the nurses' attitudes towards organs procurement and transplantation and to determine some predict factors of these attitudes. The data had been gotten, through the application of a questionnaire to the nurses of four hospitals of the area of Lisbon and conclude that the attitudes of these nurses are moderately assertive and reveal enough knowledge but not in relation to the current law. Besides, the nurses present themselves slightly satisfied. It equips of belongs, professional satisfaction and level of knowledge of the nurses on this thematic are predict factors of the nurses' attitudes towards organs procurement and transplantation professionally.
