Mobilização articular precoce da pessoa submetida a ventilação mecânica invasiva

Abstract

A imobilidade a que a pessoa submetida a ventilação mecânica invasiva está sujeita é perniciosa, reconhecendo-se o início dos mecanismos fisiopatológicos que conduzem a alterações articulares nos primeiros quatro dias de imobilidade e evidenciando-se a instalação da diminuição da amplitude articular nas primeiras duas semanas após admissão em cuidados intensivos. Através das suas competências específicas de reeducação funcional motora, a enfermagem de reabilitação objetiva a maximização da funcionalidade motora, promovendo a reabilitação e prevenindo alterações desta funcionalidade. Este relatório de estágio visa a exposição detalhada de um projeto de mobilização articular precoce da pessoa submetida a ventilação mecânica invasiva, que permitiu concluir que os exercícios terapêuticos de mobilização articular são intervenções seguras e benéficas na prevenção da diminuição da amplitude articular nesta população. Este relatório designa-se também ao relato pormenorizado do processo de desenvolvimento de competências de enfermagem e do processo de aquisição de competências de mestre; ABSTRACT: Early mobilization program for the mechanically ventilated patient. The immobility to which the mechanically ventilated patient is submitted is dangerous, recognizing the onset of the pathophysiological mechanisms that lead to joint disorders in the first four days of immobility and evidencing the installation of the reduction of joint amplitude in the first two weeks after the admission in intensive care. Through its specific skills of motor rehabilitation, rehabilitation nursing goals at maximizing motor functionality, promoting rehabilitation and preventing changes in this functionality. This training report aims at the detailed presentation of a project of early joint mobilization of the mechanically ventilated patient, which allowed to conclude that the therapeutic exercises of joint mobilization are feasible and beneficial interventions in the prevention of the decrease of the joint amplitude in this population. This report also refers to the detailed description of the process of developing nursing skills and the process of acquiring master’s skills.
