Espelho meu, espelho meu, quem é mais Psicólogo do que eu? Um estudo sobre a influência do estágio curricular na identidade profissional em estudantes de psicologia

Abstract

O estágio curricular é um período de tempo fundamental na aquisição e estabelecimento de novas e importantes competências na formação de um futuro psicólogo. Deste modo, esta dissertação pretende compreender a influência do estágio curricular na construção da identidade profissional de um futuro psicólogo, através da entrevista a 8 estudantes que finalizaram este ano o estágio curricular, e integram o mestrado de Psicologia Clínica na Universidade de Évora. A amostra compreende idades entre os 22 e os 43 anos, todos do sexo feminino. Através da mesma foi possível concluir a importância do estágio curricular no desmistificar da prática e da representação do psicólogo, o amadurecimento do estagiário em níveis pessoais e profissionais, e um crescimento nas suas competências profissionais; - Mirror, mirror on the wall, who is the best psychologist of them all? A study on the influence of the curricular intership on the Professional Identity of the Psychology students Abstract: The curricular internship is a key period of time in the acquisition and establishment of new and important skills in the training of a future psychologist. Thus, this dissertation aims to understand the influence of the curricular internship in the construction of the professional identity of a future psychologist, through the interview of 8 students who finished this year the curricular internship, and integrate the master in Clinical Psychology at the University of Évora. The sample is composed by 22 to 43 years old, all of them female. Through the interview, it was possible to conclude the importance of the curricular internship in demystifying the practice and the representation of the psychologist, the maturation of the intern at personal and professional levels, and a growth in their professional skills.
