| dc.description.abstract | The Estado da India constituted the most complex overseas Portuguese set of territories. This paper investigate a digital methodology employing Natural Language Processing to study historical events regarding it during the period 1616-1618. We explore the application of an event extraction tool over an extract of the The Monsoon Books.
