Arte contra a discriminação racial em Portugal: um contributo artístico a partir e uma perspectiva interseccional e decolonial

Abstract

O Relatório de Trabalho de Projeto intitulado Arte contra a discriminação racial em Portugal: um contributo artístico a partir de uma perspetiva interseccional e decolonial constitui uma investigação artística teórico-prática que busca analisar o tema das discriminações racial, étnico-culturais e sexuais em Portugal no foro da arte contemporânea. No decorrer desta pesquisa, pretende-se realizar um conjunto de trabalhos artísticos centrados nesta temática e através da metodologia qualitativa da análise de conteúdo, estudar o seu impacto no público. Analisar os sentimentos de desconforto e choque dos espectadores, e a capacidade de as obras provocarem atitudes de reflexão, introspeção e de questionamento sobre valores éticos e racismo, tanto a um nível individual como coletivo. A presente pesquisa pretende ser um contributo para a construção de uma sociedade mais equitativa, solidária e justa, que busque o bem-estar de todas as pessoas; - Art against racial discrimination in Portugal: an artistic contribution from an intersectional and decolonial perspective Abstract The Project Work Report entitled Art against racial discrimination in Portugal: an artistic contribution from an intersectional and decolonial perspective is based on a theoretical-practical artistic investigation that seeks to analyze the theme of racial, ethnic-cultural and sexual discrimination in Portugal in the forum of contemporary art. Likely, it is intended to carry out a set of artistic works focused on this theme and through the qualitative methodology of content analysis, to study its impact on the public. To analyze the feelings of discomfort and shock of the spectators, and the ability of the works to provoke attitudes of reflection, introspection and questioning about ethical values and racism, both at an individual and collective level. This research aims to be a contribution to the construction of a more equitable, solidary and just society that seeks the wellbeing of all people.
