Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio, realizado no âmbito do mestrado integrado em Medicina Veterinária, divide-se em três capítulos: casuística, revisão bibliográfica e um estudo de caso. No primeiro capítulo, será caracterizado o local de estágio, assim como a região de Aragão onde se realizou, apresentar-se-á a casuística assistida, com ênfase no desenvolvimento dos casos clínicos mais prevalentes. No segundo capítulo, será feita uma revisão bibliográfica sobre a infeção de ovinos pelo vírus parainfluenza 3 (PIV3). No terceiro capítulo, será apresentado um estudo de caso intitulado “Infeção pelo PIV3 em borregos do Serviço Clínico de Ruminantes da Universidade de Saragoça (SCRUM)”. - Abstract – Small Ruminant Medicine The present internship report, carried out as part of the Integrated Master's Degree in Veterinary Medicine, is divided into three chapters: casuistry, a literature review and a case study. In the first chapter, the internship site will be described, as well as the region of Aragon where it was carried out, and the casuistry assisted will be presented, with emphasis on the development of the most prevalent clinical cases. In the second chapter, a literature review will be carried out about the infection of sheep by parainfluenza virus 3 (PIV3). In the third chapter, a case study entitled “PIV3 infection in lambs at the Ruminant Clinical Service of the University of Zaragoza (SCRUM)” will be presented.
