Relatório de prática de ensino supervisionada realizada na Escola de Música do Conservatóro Nacional - A embocadura no saxofone: consolidação e seu processo

Abstract

O presente relatório surge da prática de ensino supervisionada, realizada na Escola de Música do Conservatório Nacional, no ano letivo de 2016/2017, tendo como orientador interno o professor Mário Marques e como orientador cooperante o professor Hélder Alves. Na primeira secção, é apresentada a descrição da história do conservatório, assim como a história das suas instalações, oferta educativa e classe de saxofone. Ainda é feita a caracterização dos alunos e das aulas observadas e lecionadas, com análises críticas sobre as mesmas. Na segunda secção, é apresentada uma investigação, com uso de revisão literária e de observações efetuadas durante a prática de ensino supervisionada, sobre a embocadura, as falhas mais comuns entre alunos e os processos para as ultrapassar. Os processos foram aplicados aos alunos durante a PES e da observação dos seus resultados se retiram as conclusões apresentadas; Abstract: Supervised Teaching Practice Report in the music school of the National Conservatory – The embouchure in Saxophone: Consolidation and its process. The present report arises from the supervised teaching practice performed in the music school of the National Conservatory (“Conservatório Nacional”) during the academic year 2016/2017, with Professor Mário Marques as internal counsellor and Professor Hélder Alves as cooperating advisor. On the first section, the report presents a description of the conservatory’s history as well as of its infrastructures, educational offer and saxophone classes. The report also makes a characterization of the students and of the classes that were observed and taught, and provides critical analysis about them. On the second section, the report presents an investigation, using literary reviews and observations made during the internship, on the topic regarding the mouthpiece, the most common flops between students and the methods to overcome them. The processes were applied to the students during the PES and the observation of their results withdraws the conclusions presented.
