O Kuduro: concretizações literárias à margem

Abstract

O presente estudo decorre de um trabalho de investigação que começou como reflexão e termina, agora, como proposta para mais reflexões. É sobre o Kuduro, estilo musical e de dança, de Angola, mas também do Mundo. O percurso que nos trouxe ao presente estudo permite-nos encarar o Kuduro como património cultural imaterial. Trazemos, para confirmar a nossa posição e proposta, abordagens às letras, textos de literatura de margem, onde, com base na revisão de outras discussões, procuramos enquadrar esta prática cultural. Tratamo-lo também e sobretudo como literatura, encarando-o como um subsistema literário do polissistema que é a cultura e, dentro dela, a literatura. Trabalhamo-lo nos seus diversos domínios de atualização de uma linguagem literária: poema elegíaco, confessional, satírico e interventivo social. Além da vertente estética do Kuduro, que se compreenderá no resultado da análise das letras na sua dimensão literária, apresentamos também interpretações de letras em que realçamos o lado ético e o seu papel interventivo e social. São, portanto, perspetivas em que o texto literário vai emergindo e constituindo-se como objeto cultural pluridimensional. Conscientes da marginalidade do nosso objeto de estudo, independentemente da sua pertença a um lugar de origem que se multiplicou numa diáspora inquestionável, terminamos o nosso percurso como uma etapa, apenas. Uma etapa de um caminho que encara o saber-fazer literário como um património imaterial comum ao ser humano criativo, denominador comum de uma linguagem, também comum, em línguas e “fonias” distintas; ABSTRACT: The present study takes place from a researching work that started as a reflection and ends now as a proposal for more reflections. It is about Kuduro, musical and dance genre from Angola but also from the world. The journey that brought us to the present study allows us to face Kuduro as intangible cultural heritage. To confirm our position and proposal, we bring approaches to the lyrics, margin literature texts in which, based on the review of other discussions, we seek to frame this cultural practice. We treat it mostly as literature, facing it as a literary subsystem of the polisystem that culture is and, inside it, literature. We work it in its several domains of updating of a literary language: elegiac, confessional, satirical and socially interventional poem. Apart from the aesthetical slope of Kuduro, that will be understood in the result of the lyrics analysis on its literary dimension, we also present interpretations of the lyrics in which we highlight the ethical side and its interventional and social role. They are perspectives in which the literary text emerges and constitutes itself as a multidimensional cultural object. Aware of the marginality of our object of study, independently of its belonging to a place of origin that has multiplied in an unquestionable diaspora, we conclude our journey as a single stage. A stage of a path that faces the literary know-how as intangible heritage common to the creative human being, common denominator of an also common language in distinct tongues and “fonias”.
