Cínica e reprodução de Equinos - Deformidades angulares e flexurais em poldros

Abstract

Este relatório tem como objetivo a descrição das atividades realizadas no decorrer do estágio curricular do Mestrado Integrado em Medicina Veterinária da Universidade de Évora. Encontra-se dividido em três partes sendo a primeira a descrição da casuística acompanhada, dividida nas diversas áreas da medicina de equinos. Dentro de cada área dividiu-se também em função do sistema envolvido, sendo desenvolvidos alguns casos/procedimentos representativos. A segunda parte é referente a uma monografia sobre as “Deformidades angulares e flexurais em poldros”. Por último, no final do relatório, são apresentados dois casos clínicos referentes a defeitos angulares e flexurais acompanhados durante o estágio; Abstract: Equine Clinic and Reproduction - Angular and flexural limb deformities in foals - The aim of this report is to describe the activities that were performed during the curricular externship of the Integrated Masters in Veterinary Medicine of the University of Évora. It is subdivided in three sections. The first one describes the observed cases, that are divided in several areas of equine medicine, followed by a more detailed discussion of a representative case in each area. The second part covers a monography about angular and flexural limb deformities in foals. In the last part there is a presentation of two observed cases related to the monography theme.
