Clínica e cirurgia das espécies pecuárias

Abstract

O presente relatório de estágio foi elaborado no âmbito do Estágio Curricular do Mestrado Integrado em Medicina Veterinária na Universidade de Évora. A elaboração deste trabalho permite descrever as atividades praticadas no período de estágio, na área da Clínica e Cirurgia de Espécies Pecuárias, incluindo uma breve revisão bibliográfica sobre o tema “Diarreias Neonatais em vitelos” com descrição e discussão de casos clínicos acompanhados no estágio. Na primeira parte do relatório são descritas as localidades onde decorreu o estágio e as atividades e respetiva casuística acompanhada durante o mesmo. Numa segunda parte é abordado o tema “Diarreias Neonatais em vitelos” através de uma breve revisão bibliográfica. Finalmente, são apresentados e posteriormente discutidos dois casos clínicos relativos à temática anteriormente referida; - Abstract: Large Animal Practice and Surgery - The present report was written as part of the curricular internship of the Integrated Master Degree in Veterinary Medicine at the University of Évora. This work allows the description of the activities carried out during the internship period, in the field of Large Animal Practice and Surgery, and includes a brief bibliographical review on the topic “Neonatal Diarrhea in calves” alongside the description and discussion of some clinical cases that were followed during the internship. The first part of the report describes the locations where the internship took place, as well as the activities and respective cases which were followed during this period. In the second part, the topic “Neonatal Diarrhea in calves” is addressed in a brief literature review. The report ends with the presentation and subsequent discussion of two clinical cases relating to the previously mentioned topic.
