Questões de tradução português/Espanhol no Colégio Luso Internacional de Braga

Abstract

Ao longo do presente trabalho ilustro a trajectória percorrida no Estágio realizado como conclusão do Mestrado em Línguas Aplicadas e Tradução da Universidade de Évora. A entidade de acolhimento, o Colégio Luso Internacional de Braga (CLIB), procurando a fidelização e ampliação do número de alunos hispano-falantes, entendeu que era importante traduzir para espanhol alguns documentos só disponíveis em português e inglês até a data. Estas páginas tentam reflectir o processo da tradução do site desta entidade, prestando especial atenção à resolução das dificuldades que foram surgindo no decorrer do trabalho; ABSTRACT: The present Report focuses on the work carried out during my traineeship at the Colégio Internacional de Braga (CLIB) as a requirement to obtain a Master’s degree in Aplied Languages and Translation. The host institution, aiming to maintain and increase the number of Spanish-speaking students, decided it was imperative to provide the community with some information in Spanish, information that was until recently only available in Portuguese and English. The following pages seek to give a clear overview of the translation process of its website, focussing on some of the difficulties encountered and how they were resolved.
