Abstract
This book analyses the Social Networks built on the Spanish most typical association in the XIXth Century, a Casino. Form a sociological point of view it studies the most important center for the elite businessman, parliamentarians and aristocracy, the Casino of Madrid from 1836 to 1900. It was a gentlemanly capitalism club where the elites gathered and made networks which lead them to create social capital. Both are studied especially throughout the presentations of new members of the club, the social patronage as indicator of those societal, economical, and familiar networks.
