Abstract

This paper analyses case studies and student experiences that illustrate the transformative/contributive power of green mobility in coping with climate change and contributing to SDG 13-Climate action. It highlights the scope of the Erasmus+ programme and its importance for global sustainable development. The article emphasises the importance of environmentally friendly mobility habits and examines current initiatives and collaborations/alignments between Erasmus+ and environmental groups, emphasising their influence on a global scale. Case studies and student experiences are addressed, along with the advantages and difficulties of incorporating them into the Erasmus+ programme. A qualitative research methodology was used, namely the analysis of documents, coding and categorizing the collect-ed data to ensure a systematic analysis and the implementation of triangulation by using multiple data sources or methods to enhance the credibility and validity of the findings. The conclusion highlights the fact that the symbiotic relationship between the Erasmus+ programme and eco-mobility has the potential to bring about important changes in people and their travel habits.
