Caracterização construtiva do edificado de Alfama

Abstract

Este trabalho insere-se no âmbito da intervenção de reabilitação em edifícios habitacionais antigos, uma área ainda pouco analisada e estudada metodologicamente no nosso país. Procurou-se realizar um relatório técnico, que descrevesse de uma forma objetiva os sistemas construtivos de seis edifícios habitacionais de Alfama. São construções que ainda mantem uma matriz medieval, com uma grande reconstrução após o terramoto de 1755, mas que chegaram à atualidade com técnicas que espelham o modo de construir do período entre os sécs. XV e XVI. Foi elaborado um modelo arquitetónico digital e uma análise escrita e fotográfica dos principais elementos constituintes da construção, bem como das suas anomalias. O registo dos sistemas construtivos é importante, não só como documento de análise, comparação e extrapolação para outros edifícios equivalentes em zonas urbanas históricas, mas também para realçar a necessidade de metodologias de projeto e de obra específicas. /ABSTRACT - The subject of this thesis is the rehabilitation interventions on ancient habitation buildings, a subject that is still not very common to be analysed and studied in our country. A technical report was produced, describing, objectively the constructive systems of six habitation buildings in Alfama. These are constructions that keep a medieval model, with a great reconstruction after the earthquake in 1755, but that reached our days with techniques that show the way which was used to build in the period between the 15th and 16th centuries. A digital architecture model has been created together with a written and photographic analysis of the main elements of the construction and also its anomalies. The record of the constructive systems is important not only as a document of analysis, comparison and extrapolation for other equivalent buildings in historical urban areas, but also as a way to point out that specific methodologies are necessary for projects and construction works.
