Museu Municipal de Estremoz Prof. Joaquim Vermelho: valorização do núcleo museológico da alfaia agrícola

Abstract

A realização do estágio no Museu Municipal de Estremoz Prof. Joaquim Vermelho visou adquirir competências práticas de trabalho na área da museologia e verificar o cumprimento das funções museológicas de acordo com a lei. Além disso, pretendemos com a realização do estágio dar a conhecer a instituição e seus núcleos museológicos, nomeadamente as suas valências e acervo. Valorizámos o acervo do Museu Municipal no seu todo e, mais especificamente, o acervo do Núcleo Museológico da Alfaia Agrícola, fazendo propostas e desenvolvendo atividades concretas que possibilitaram essa valorização. Para atingir os objetivos planeámos e montámos uma exposição num local físico e apelativo diferente do local onde se situam os museus. A nossa finalidade: “levar” os museus ao encontro do público, utilizando elementos (objetos) que possibilitassem a sua interpretação. Tentámos ao mesmo tempo despertar no público um maior interesse pela visita aos museus locais e consciencializar a comunidade para a importância da proteção do seu património; ABSTRACT: The internship at the Estremoz Municipal Museum Joaquim Vermelho aimed to acquire practical work skills in the area of museology and to verify compliance with museological functions according to the law. In addition, with the internship we intend to make the institution and its museological units known, namely its valences and collection. We valued the collection of the Municipal Museum as a whole and, more specifically, the collection of the Museological Center of Alfaia Agrícola, making proposals and developing concrete activities that made this valorization possible. To achieve the objectives, we planned and set up an exhibition in a physical and appealing place different from the place where museums are located. Our purpose: to "bring" museums to the public, using elements (objects) that allow their interpretation. At the same time, we tried to arouse a greater interest in the public in visiting local museums and raise the community's awareness of the importance of protecting their heritage.
