Arquitectura popular portuguesa, na região de Lisboa e Vale do Tejo

Abstract

A presente dissertação tem como base e ponto de partida o livro “Arquitectura Popular em Portugal”, consistindo numa análise dos edifícios e locais apresentados neste, referentes à zona da Estremadura. Este trabalho tem como suporte de registo arquitectónico a fotografia, tendo-se procedido à escolha dos vários exemplos e analisando-os individualmente. A análise dos edifícios e locais consiste, não somente na recolha fotográfica, mas também nas suas características arquitectónicas: registadas na época do Inquérito e na actualidade, comparando-as, tentando compreender que mudanças sociais, económicas, de propriedade e consequentes paradigmas conduziram às eventuais transformações que entretanto se tenham operado. Esta recolha/análise tem, também, como objectivo registar o estado de conservação dos edifícios seleccionados e indagar/compreender os factores que levaram a um eventual estado de degradação, tenham sido de ordem socio-económica, quer de ordem material/ambiental; Abstract: The present thesis is based on the book “Arquitectura Popular em Portugal”, consisting of an analysis of the buildings and the places featured in this, referring to the area of Extremadura. This work has the support of photography, having proceeded to the choice of examples and analyzing them individually. The analysis consists of buildings and places, not only based in the photographic collection, but also in it´s architectural features: registered at the time of the inquiry and in the present, comparing them, trying to understand the social, economic, property and consequential paradigms led to the eventual however changes that have been operated. This collection / analysis is also intended to record the condition of the selected buildings and investigate / understand the factors that led to an eventual state of degradation, that have been socioeconomic order, or material / environmental order.
